How Do I Get my Pet to Stop Behaving Badly?

Sometimes the best way for you to keep your dog from behaving badly is to enroll it in dog school, or an obedience training class. However, this choice is best reserved as a last ditch effort to get your pet to behave properly again. Don't try and be lazy because you can't invest time to properly correct its bad behavior on your own.

Preventing or having them stop biting is good way is a good way to stop bad behavior in dogs. Dogs bite because they're teething, they feel threatened, they're injured, they've been abused or, sometimes, if the dog is in heat. Provide dogs plenty of chew toys. If a puppy nips or bites, use a can or bottle filled with coins or rocks as a shaker, and shake it at them while saying "no" firmly. The shake will startle them. Dogs that are injured should be muzzled until they've healed to prevent biting.

Dogs like digging in a trash. Bad behavior in dogs manifest because they're either hungry or are overcome by plain curiosity to investigate the strong. To remedy this, try spraying bitter apple on the trash bin to keep it away and try getting rid of your trash so as to keep it from being accessed by your dog.

Misbehaving dogs sometimes eat feces because of maybe you haven't fed it enough or it simply needs to quench its curiosity of the unknown. To stop your dog from eating its feces, you can purchase special dog chow to make feces taste horrible to a dog's standards.

To raise a well behaved dog, there's always an option of enrolling it obedience class as soon as possible. This option is best used if everything else has failed. It will help straighten out your pet's common problems without you trying to work a sweat over it that much.
